Holland & Holland has a long history of discretion and personal privacy since we began our business in 1835.  Privacy has always been fundamental to our relationship with our Clients, including royalty.  Our Clients have relied on us to provide them with the highest quality in guns and outdoor apparel for over 180 years.   Holland & Holland has never lost sight of its commitment to its Clients to treat them with the highest level of respect, deference and discretion, and personal privacy is fundamental to this relationship.  The European Commission has strengthened the ideals of privacy and discretion by revising the EU’s data protection laws under the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  It is with pleasure that we describe our long-standing commitment to our values and to the new regulation with our Privacy Policy, set out below.

Holland & Holland is a business comprised of gun sales and manufacturing, men’s and women’s sporting clothing and shooting grounds in England and Texas.

How we Collect Customer Personal Data

We collect customer personal data in person, via the web, including cookies (see Cookie Policy) and website registration, over the phone, on our proprietary ipad program (the “Holland & Holland Hub”) and through our customer services. We collect Customer Data in our boutiques by asking our customers to provide their details, such as name, address, email and on customer registration cards.  We also collect customer personal data on our e-commerce websites, including payment information so that customers can purchase Holland & Holland products and services.

We never buy or sell customer data.

How we use personal data

We use your personal data to complete sales transactions, deliver products or samples to you, notify you of new products, collections or inventory, fulfil customer requests, let you know about events, aftersales services and customer services requests.  We will only send you advertising or send direct marketing with your consent as described below, and we will never contact you if you have opted out of direct marketing or exercised your rights as a data subject.  (See Data Subject Rights below).

We gather and maintain customer data limited to being able to offer you Holland & Holland products and we keep it only so long as it is relevant to do so according to the purpose we’ve given you for processing.

We may also process personal data for analytics, for example, to measure our effectiveness in serving our clients and offering products and services that are relevant to you.  We will anonymise your data for our analytics if reasonably possible.

We may also collect information about how our website is accessed and used (“Usage Data”).
