Holland & Holland Raises A Toast
Holland & Holland’s #527 London Dry Gin & #575 Sloe Gin provide a quintessential accompaniment to the winter season.
Our restless pursuit in equipping clients with the finest regalia, both in the field and at leisure, has led us to consider the perfect accompaniment to a post shoot soirée. Could it be an early evening, icy cold and refreshing Gin & Tonic? Or maybe, a cool Dry Gin Martini with a twist? Or perhaps, a decadent Sloe Royale?
In the spirit of contemplation, we are delighted to release our first signature gins, #527 London Dry Gin & #575 Sloe Gin. The No. 527 London Dry, an unquestionable choice for a London gun maker, is infused with seven organic botanicals including juniper berries, coriander seeds, lemon peel, lime flower, angelica root, winter savory and orris root. Offering a clean and refreshing flavour, the gin’s notes are led by a core of warm juniper combined with an elegantly crisp citrus finish.
The No. 575 Sloe Gin, made with wild English sloe berries, British sugar and Holland & Holland’s proprietary No. 527 London Dry Gin, has been extensively barrel-aged in American bourbon cherrywood smoked casks for a satisfyingly rich flavour. The deep ruby red liqueur conjures hints of both cherry and plum – each distant relatives of the sloe berry - yielding a sophisticated and indulgent palate.
The English made limited releases are named with significance to our company’s heritage. The No. 527 London Dry takes its number from our first factory on Harrow Road, while the No. 575 Sloe Gin finds its origins in the serial number of an early gun, made for our co-founder Harris Holland.
Available in the United Kingdom via our website, or at the Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds in Northwood, the brace of gin is made using only the finest ingredients. The gins are the ultimate gift for any luxury connoisseur, especially when paired with fine English crystal ware or a pocket-sized flask from our Accessories Collection.
Cheers!
